How Fox & Quinn Reimagined Spanish Romance Through Color and Light

Beyond Tuscany: A New Kind of European Romance

When most couples think of Montaluce Winery, the vision leans Tuscan: warm stone, rolling hills, and old-world charm. But at Fox & Quinn, we believe in reimagining the expected. For this styled editorial, we traded Italy for Spain, drawing inspiration from the architectural masterpiece that is Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia.

Moodboard for a styled shoot inspired by the Sagrada Familia and Spanish architecture. Includes colorful stained glass, Gaudí-style mosaic tiles, a sculptural green bridal bouquet, vibrant red-yellow-blue floral palettes, the Tuscan-style architecture of Montaluce Winery, and rainbow light spilling through cathedral windows.
The visual foundation for our Sagrada Familia shoot at Montaluce: a celebration of color, architecture, and sculptural florals. Inspired by stained glass windows, Gaudí’s mosaic work, and the vibrant romance of Spain.

The result? A color-drenched, stained-glass-inspired celebration that transformed Montaluce into a kaleidoscope of light, texture, and emotion.

At the heart of the shoot stood a 10-foot stained glass wedding arch — an immersive, larger-than-life installation that mimicked the glow of Sagrada Familia’s iconic windows. As sunlight poured through multicolored panes, it painted the ceremony in dancing hues of sapphire, amber, and emerald.

This wasn’t just décor. It was an experience.

A Ceremony Bathed in Color

Outdoor wedding ceremony setup on a wooden deck overlooking the lake at Montaluce Winery. A custom arched structure mimics stained glass windows with bold colors and floral accents, surrounded by wooden oval-back chairs facing the altar.

Sculptural Florals Meet Architectural Fantasy

In true Fox & Quinn fashion, florals became part of the structure, not just an accent to it. We layered the table in a continuous color gradient, with blooms arranged to transition from fiery reds and oranges to serene lavenders and deep violets. Each cluster was carefully curated to feel both organic and intentional — a living embodiment of Gaudí’s architectural flow.

Details that Tell a Story

Every design decision tied back to our core narrative of vibrant European escape. Stained glass elements appeared throughout the tablescape — in the form of custom acrylic placemats, glassware, and votive holders that shimmered with prismatic light. The overall effect? A wedding-cation in Spain, without ever leaving the South.

Texture, tone, and movement became the language of love.

Why This Matters

At Fox & Quinn, we don’t just design weddings — we design emotions. We believe in sensory storytelling: the interplay of color, light, and detail to evoke the same feeling you get when you first walk into a boutique hotel or sip sangria on a sunlit terrace in Barcelona.

This editorial was about more than beauty. It was about inviting couples to dream bigger, bolder, and more artfully.
