It started with a lamp. Black and cream stripes, a sculptural silhouette, and just enough personality to set the tone. That, and the glass house at Cedar Lakes Estate, all black steel, light, and sky.
The palette followed naturally: gold and deep plum, each making the other look richer. We kept everything else quiet. Smoked glassware. Wild grasses and plum fritillaria left a little loose and untamed.
The editorial was an exercise in restraint. How little you can use and still create something memorable. A tight palette. Layered texture. The confidence to let simplicity carry the room.
