Because Taste Is More Than a Moodboard
When we first started dreaming up the Fox & Quinn Style Quiz, we didn’t set out to build something trendy. We set out to build something true.
True to our clients — who are thoughtful, visual, and complex.
True to our approach — which is rooted in emotional resonance, not aesthetic shortcuts.
And true to the planning experience — which can feel overwhelming, performative, and full of noise if you don’t have language to anchor it.
The Problem with “What’s Your Style?”
Here’s the thing: some people come into planning with a crystal-clear vision. But many don’t — or they think they don’t, when in reality, they just don’t have the vocabulary yet.
Others have excellent taste — you can feel it in how they dress, how they travel, how they host — but they can’t quite translate that into wedding terms. And we get it. The wedding world is loud. Pinterest is a vortex. And it’s easy to lose sight of what you actually love when you’re surrounded by what you’re supposed to love.
So instead of starting with, “What do you like for your wedding?”
We like to ask,
“How do you move through the world?”
“What feels like you — beyond weddings?”
Because that’s where the story starts.
What the Quiz Is — and Isn’t
The quiz isn’t meant to give you a boxed-in identity.
It’s not a prescription. It’s a starting point — a place to pause, reflect, and name your instincts.
Each archetype is rooted in emotional tone, aesthetic touchpoints, and lifestyle alignment. Are you someone who finds peace in symmetry and structure? Do you find joy in color and charm? Do you gravitate toward shadow, texture, ease?
And the beauty of it is — you don’t have to figure that out alone.
We’ve seen couples take the quiz together and have real, thoughtful conversations.
Moments like:
“Wait, I didn’t know you cared about the ceremony space that much.”
or
“That travel answer is so you — but this one is so me.”
It becomes less about getting it “right” and more about getting aligned. And that’s when planning starts to feel collaborative — not performative.
Design Is Interpretation
We’re not here to match you with a “theme.”
We’re here to interpret who you are — and design accordingly.
The quiz is just the door. What happens next is the magic:
- Archetypes become creative direction.
- Aesthetic becomes experience.
- Taste becomes tangible.
And most importantly, you feel seen — not just as clients, but as people. And that’s where all great design begins.
